Human Resources Manager of Client Services
Trucept, Inc. is a provider of professional business services including Human Resources, Marketing and Finance/Accounting. We are currently seeking a Human Resource Manager to join our Client Services Team, supporting clients when they questions or need support with HR related questions. This exciting role interfaces directly with clients in a multitude of industries across all 50 states and advises on best practice solutions.
The Human Resource Manager for Client Services will run the daily HR function for a variety of PEO and ASO clients. The ideal candidate will have experience with onboarding and orientation, employment law compliance, writing handbooks and process manuals, administering health and welfare benefits, 401K administration, OSHA compliance, multi-state labor law and employment law, EEOC, client relations and customer relations. This is a true generalist role, in a high volume, white glove service environment.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Oversees the daily workflow of the department, under the direction of the HR Director;
- Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
- Reviews and approves time off requests, schedule change request, etc.
- Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
- Assists with recruiting, interviewing, hiring and organizing training for new staff in the department.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Partners with the leadership team across Trucept and all clients to understand and execute their organization’s human resource strategy, particularly as it relates to compliance and organizational support;
- Provides support and guidance to HR generalists, client management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise;
- Provides HR support and guidance regarding sensitive personnel issues such as disciplinary action and terminations;
- Creates and implements comprehensive HR support plans for clients;
- Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications;
- Assists clients in implementing new hire orientations, manager trainings, employee recognition programs, etc;
- Provides guidance to clients so that they can compliantly administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development;
- Handles employment-related inquiries from clients, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff;
- Occasionally conducts client site-visits to ensure a comprehensive HR support plan is created;
- Responds to both internal and external client emails quickly and in a professional manner;
- Responds to both internal and external client phone inquiries quickly and in a professional manner;
- Maintains compliance with, and a deep understanding of, federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance;
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law;
- Supports adjacent departments such as Payroll, Workers Compensation, Client Relations;
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required;
- A minimum of six years of human resource management experience preferred;
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
